The villa

The villa is located within a development of other similar villas, some of which are rented to other holiday makers and some of which are lived in by long term residents. There are people from a number of countries living or holidaying together and it provides a wonderful multi-cultural flavour to your stay.
Mobile phones have good reception in the area to and from the UK and there are numerous public phones nearby.

Living area

The villa itself has a comfortable living area downstairs with a double sofa bed, dining table and chairs and a downstairs cloakroom.
A television (with French channels only) and a radio cassette player are provided, but we have intentionally not provided a phone so that you can get away from it all.

A small kitchenette is located to one corner of the living area and contains a sink, fridge, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle together with saucepans, cutlery and crockery.
If it becomes cool in the evenings, only realistically likely between October and March, there is a wall mounted heater to keep you warm.

Upstairs

|
Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other room, a bunk bed) with views over the green fields and towards the lagoon, and a shower room with WC.

Patio

|
|
The villa has rose red tiles and white wooden shutters and its own tiled terrace and outdoor furniture for al fresco eating.
From the patio, you can look out onto the open green fields in front and see the birds in the nature reserve and lagoon beyond or watch the sunsetting in the evening (hopefully with a glass of chilled wine in your hand!). The children will love the occasional sighting of the shepherd taking his grazing flock of sheep across the field in front.

Swimming pool

There is a wonderful communal outdoor swimming pool (usually open between mid June to mid September).
The pool is reserved for residents of the development only and entry is by means of security bracelets which will be provided. Please note that there is no lifeguard at any time.

Parking

|
|
|
The villa has a designated parking space within the development and is available for the sole use of those renting the villa.
